We are saving the original and will be either turning it into a promise ring for Violet's 16th birthday or will keep it as a first engagement ring for Riley to someday give to the girl he wants to marry till they pick out the ring they want together. :) Either way, we aren't getting rid of the old one, just "upgrading" it. :)
