So on Monday evening, Riley says to me "Mom - did you know that last night when I was sleeping I talked to God?"
Really? What did you talk to God about?
"God showed me what Heaven looked like!"
Tell me about it!
"It was so cool! With lots of RAINBOWS! And there was a jumper too so you could play."
Awesome! Did you see any people there?
"Yeah, but they were mostly sleeping. Some of them were playing too. And I saw Moker and Guard dog there, and they were playing with the kids!"
Totally awesome! Heaven sounds fantastic!
"I LOVED Heaven! It was really cool."

Awwww....I love this post and the last one. It is great that you documented Riley's conversation- it will be a treasure to him in later years.
And, about Violet- I really like the crying shot of her. Not because I like seeing little kids cry, but because, as moms, we see that type of face all the time....but we rarely photograph it because it isn't "pretty" or sweet or cute. In 10 years' time, though, we may want a reminder of the daily stuff- not just the highlights. Let me ask you this- was she happy about you whipping out the camera in the middle of her meltdown? 'Cause I know Grant would be mad at me. :-)
Violet is pretty used to me always having my camera out, so really she wasn't so upset by seeing it there. She was upset at her brother for something so part of the crying was for drama effect, so I think she actually wanted it to be documented! HA! We'll see how she feels abot that pic in a few years ;)
