Getting there!
The Wii fund is growing! We took all that change from Rick's jar to the Coinstar machine... nearly 3000 pennies were in there! We left with just over $60 to add to the Fund, which means the kids have just surpassed the $100 mark. They are pretty jazzed about that... too bad I have to break it to them that they are only 1/3 of the way there... lol

Hey, there doing really well. Maybe don't tell them how much a Wii is unless they ask? ;-) Seriously, though, what a big goal to reach! And, are Wii systems still scarce, or won't that be a problem? I know when we got ours, Eric felt like he'd really lucked out (just happened to be at Best Buy as they were unloading 10).
We are keeping out eye out and will be picking one up when we see one. The kids won't know this, though. They will have to wait until they are done raising the money :)
I think I have some extra work in the classroom Violet can do to earn some cash. Oh and Riley can come pick up my dog dog's poop. We can't wait till you meet the goal so we can come play! Thanks for everything friend!
You could send them around and collect pennies from neighbors. Just have them say they are collecting for hurricane Katrina..ooh or that really creepy, clearly homeless guy collecting "donations for pop warner" in is golden spitune. That was special.
