I just signed up for the Disney Movie Club - I needed to replace a few of our DVDs that got ruined (Riley was trying to pry Monster's Inc out of the case and BROKE IT IN HALF), and there were a few we wanted to add to our collection. I figure, we'll get our 8 Disney DVDs for about $90 and then I'll cancel the membership. I had one of those music club memberships in college and added some great tunes to my collection back then, and it was a pretty decent deal. This one is, too.
We are trying to plan our summer - Disneyland or the beach? Disneyland or the beach?? Both have their merits... both are waaaaaay fun. Trying to coordinate it all with the fam right now. It's crazy - staying at the Disneyland Resorts is sooooooo freaking expensive. The same nights and park deals are about half the cost at other hotels that are really not that much farther away. Just wondering if convenience is worth staying there, or if the Hilton or Marriott Suites a block away is the way to go... Of course I have never had the luxury of staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels... and I guess they *are* amazing... but to the tune of $4000 for a family vacation??? Yikes!
