I recently finished a book called A Dedication by John Zaiss. Excellent, inspiring read for anyone who has been a student or a teacher, been a teenager or has teenagers. It's a story of frendship and redemption and overcoming tragedy. Just wonderful. Cried for hours. Apparently I need a cry once in awhile.
Check it out at Amazon, read all the reviews, and get it if you wish. You will be glad you did.

Thanks for the warning, again. I don't flee from all cancer stories- that makes it sound as though I avoid reality. Really, it just comes down to me not needing to have a good cry right now. Sometimes you're in the mood for it, other times you're not.
I totally understand, but at the same time wanted to give you fair warning :)
