I am THIRTY today! I can't believe it. I am out of my twenties and officially an ADULT now. Anything stupid that I do now cannot be attributed to "my crazy twenties" and just has to be my own fault... HA!!
I am, surprisingly, not traumatized by this change. I am at a good point in my life - I am happily married with two gorgeous kids and a nice home, I feel like my artistic career is taking off, and I am happy with who I am right now. Life is good!!
We're heading up to the mountains today for a family birthday party... the kids are gonna have a great time, and I just love the cool, refreshing mountain air. Rick, the kids, and I are going up a little early to grab a good spot, and I am taking my Harry Potter book. Hopefully I will actually get to READ it a little today ;).
The kids got me a postal scale for my birthday... LOL... really I wanted it! Now I don't have to lug them down to the post office when mailing my packages to the various magazines. I can just weigh them at home and print postage from USPS.com, and leave them for the mail lady to pick up. Wheeee!
And speaking of magazines, good stuff in the works for me... can't wait to share with you all the stuff I have been working on!!!
