Picasso

for our tenth anniversary dinner (I know what you are thinking... "didn't you already *have* one of these?" and maybe I did but the 19th was our *FOR REALS* anniversary so we went out again. PLUS it was our tenth anniversary, and that deserves to be celebrated as many times as possible!!).

We had the most AMAZING dinner at Picasso at the Bellagio. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed a lovely prix fixe multi-course meal with wine while we watched the fountains. And we walked through the restaurant and got to see all the incredible works of art by Picasso himself. I mean - THERE IT WAS - the canvases HE PAINTED ON. Right in front of us. WOW. I was in *heaven.*

I know, isn't that the coolest feeling in the world to see REAL pieces of art that you study in class and stuff? Happy anniversary again by the way.

"REAL pieces of art that you study in class". I second that comment- it is completely the way I've felt before. Congratulations again on ten years married! And you're right, it deserves to be celebrated as much as possible. My mom used to love that with birthdays...she never cared if cards/packages were early or late. For her, it elongated the celebration to the point where it was sometimes referred to as "Birthday Month".
