Diagnosis...
Violet's been diagnosed with severe childhood migraines and has an MRI scheduled for as soon as my insurance will allow it (which is in 7-10 days). After that we should know more, but the doc is pretty confident it's just this and that she will eventually grow out of them. He gave us some migraine-specific medicine that she can take at the onset of the episode (which, thankfully, she had at the office so he could see exactly what he is dealing with), and it usually takes effect within 15 minutes, which is exactly what happened with Violet. So things are looking good for her! Thanks for your prayers. She is feeling much better this afternoon.

Check out Open Sided MRI! I was just there today. It's WAY better than a regular MRI machine, especially if she's the least bit claustrophobic.
poor thing. we're praying for her. it made me sad to see her head stuck in the miniature garbage can in the back seat today with her sad and frustrated feelings. =(
Little Violet... we pray that the Lord be with you and that the MRI comes back clear and that he would help you with the pressures of these migranes. Lord be with violet and let your hand be upon her head and her pain you are a healing and loving God and she is your child protect her and care for her Lord we pray. Thank you Lord for violet as she is a blessing and your gift. In you holy and healing name we pray Amen
